Survey Training Videos

Welcome to the online video training for the Pigeon Guillemot Breeding Survey. We have created five training videos that together cover the main aspects of the survey for beach volunteers. Before you view the videos, gather necessary materials to reference during the video i.e., printed Survey Protocol, Beach Data Sheet, and Prey Fish Identification Card; all available on the Survey Toolbox page. Please view the videos in the order listed, as information in earlier videos is necessary to understand directions in later videos.  As you view the videos make note of anything that is unclear and direct those questions to your survey coordinator. In addition, all new volunteers will receive on-the-beach training and orientation in which you will be assigned to your specific section of beach and burrows.
